The second OLDPONG international senior tournament took place on 11 May 2025 in Osijek at Dvorana Gradski vrt, bringing together more than 50 seniors from local clubs, retirement homes and the wider community. Organised as an open-day event, the tournament welcomed players aged 60+ and 70+ of all skill levels, including international participants, as evidenced on the attendance lists. The competition followed a Round-Robin format, ensuring multiple matches for every participant and promoting enjoyment, movement and social interaction. Winners received medals and diplomas, and visibility was ensured through photographs, leaflets and coordinated branding. The event contributed directly to OLDPONG’s objectives by promoting active aging, strengthening cross-border cooperation and generating valuable evaluation data. Seniors demonstrated strong engagement, improved mobility and high motivation, while younger volunteers and caregivers supported the organisation, reinforcing intergenerational exchange. The Osijek tournament was considered highly successful, exceeding expectations in participation, inclusion and community impact, and serving as a key piloting and dissemination milestone for the project.
